Easy Targets

Service OfferingHere's a small usability enhancement that will bring some seasonal joy to service level managers. A while ago it became apparent that the vast majority of the targets specified in service offerings are defined in hours rather than minutes. Knowing this, we decided to make things a little easier for service level managers.

Entering a resolution target durationIn the past, if a service level manager entered the number 4 in a response or resolution target field, this would become 0:04 when the cursor moved out of the field. Today this 4 becomes 4:00.

Combined with the new Duplicate feature, this makes it possible to add a new level of service to the service catalog in less than a minute.
