Email Attachments

EmailFrom the feedback we have received from our customers, it is clear that the Mail API has become very popular. That is primarily because this API makes it so easy to automatically register a new request. It's just a matter of sending an email to ITRP. But what if a file is attached to such an email?

The functionality of the Mail API has just been extended. Now it will also pick up the attachments that are sent to ITRP.

Email from end-user with attachment
If any attachments are found in an email, these files will be added to the new request that the Mail API generates for the sender of the email.

Request with attachment generated by Mail API
Inline images will also get added as attachments to the new request when pictures are included in the body of the email.
