Self Service Friendliness

ServiceWhen an end user decides to submit a request on-line, Self Service offers the user a list of services. These are the services for which the user is covered by an SLA. From this list the user can select the service for which support is needed.

To make it easier to spot the right service, Self Service now displays an icon for each service.

Adding such a picture is easy. Just open a Service record in Edit mode. This allows you to click on the default service icon and upload a picture of your choice.

Apart from displaying the service icons, Self Service now also allows end users to see the description of each service. And since the service names and descriptions can be translated, you can make this information available in the different languages of your user community.
